Patient FAQs

Helpful information before your consultation

These answers are general information, not medical advice for an individual situation.

When should I book a gynaecology consultation?

Consider a consultation for symptoms that concern you, menstrual changes, pelvic pain, reproductive-health questions, pregnancy planning, fertility concerns, menopausal symptoms or preventive care. Urgent or severe symptoms need prompt medical attention.

When should I have my first pregnancy appointment?

The right timing varies. If you have a positive test, contact a qualified clinician or the clinic for guidance, particularly if you have pain, bleeding, a prior high-risk pregnancy or other health conditions.

Can I discuss fertility concerns at a consultation?

Yes. A consultation can help review relevant history and discuss suitable evaluation, lifestyle considerations, timing and whether referral or further support may be appropriate.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring previous prescriptions, relevant reports, a list of current medicines and any questions you would like to discuss. The clinic may advise you about additional documents for your specific visit.

Can I send reports through WhatsApp?

Please ask the clinic first. Avoid sending sensitive health information through ordinary messaging unless the clinic directs you to an appropriate channel.

Is this website for emergencies?

No. For severe pain, heavy bleeding, breathing difficulty, fainting, seizure, suspected ectopic pregnancy, labour emergency or any rapidly worsening condition, seek immediate emergency care.
